Coaching

Coaching is provided free of charge to all financial members of the Berwick Bowling Club. Individual coaching sessions can be organised through the Coaching Co-ordinator.

Regular group coaching sessions are conducted on:

• Tuesdays from 3.30pm - September to February
• Sundays from 9am to 12 throughout the year

Junior Coaching
This is a "No charge coaching" opportunity with the clubs head coach; Les Herring - Level 2 coach (advanced).

Since 2005, Les has conducted training sessions and competitions for the local schools where over 5,000 students and 500 students with a disability; have come along for fun times and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Les is keen to develop further training sessions and school house competitions for all local schools.

The following local schools have participated in giving bowls a go:

• Kambria College
• St. Margarets
• Beaconhills (Berwick Campus)
• Beaconhills (Pakenham Campus)
• St. Francis Xavier College
• Berwick Secondary College

Les has a "Working with Children Check" and is very keen to make the children feel right at home and to enjoy bowls. Parents and teachers are most welcome to also attend.
