The club is very dependant on sponsorship income for its day to day running and for tournament prize money. At the same time the club is very aware of the fact that the sponsors must get value for their money and every effort is made to this effect.
Types of Sponsorship
- Greenside advertising signs 2m x1m $500 rent per year +cost of board
- Special size board available at negotiated prices
- Members yearly syllabus book, full page adverts $400 except covers
- Tournaments from $250 to $2,500, some for one-day events, others for progressive scores for the season. Some are multi sponsor events.
- Adverting on club uniforms
- Raffle prizes; Most sporting clubs thrive on raffles and our bowling club is no exception and all donors receive suitable recognition.
Our sponsorship committee is very active and is quite happy to talk to anybody with their own preposition. As long as it is beneficial to both parties and the project is feasible, we will do it
A Note to Our Members
Always be aware that that our sponsors deserve to get your business in preference to others. They at least expect an opportunity to do business with you and give you their best quote. Always mention that you are from the Berwick Bowling Club, do not ask for a discount and you will most likely receive the best quality goods and/or services available.
