Claire Charman Novice Championship

The novice singles event commenced on Sunday 15th September 2013 and will continue over the next couple of Sundays.

This event has been very well supported with most of our newer female and male bowlers competing . It should be remembered that the 38 entrants have been bowling for less than 2 years and the competition is fierce. The results have been surprising and very pleasing and can only go well for the clubs future.

Congratulations to the organisers for such a great event and the coaches in getting the players to such a standard to make the event so successful.

The final for both men's and women's matches will be on Sunday 29th September at a time to suit the bowlers.

We look forward to this event becoming our first full tournament of each year.
